Platform QA & UAT Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sanity, functional, and end-to-end testing of platform and backend systems before and after releases.
• Validate complete customer journeys across multiple systems and ensure critical functionalities are working as expected.
• Regularly monitor platform performance, availability, and business-critical customer journeys.
• Identify, document, and report defects, issues, and system abnormalities to the concerned teams.
• Conduct UAT for new features, products, system enhancements, and customer journeys.
• Prepare and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Log defects, track issues, coordinate with relevant teams, and perform retesting after fixes.
• Test new product launches, offers, promotions, and marketing campaigns before release.
• Validate customer eligibility, charging, fulfillment, notifications, and reporting for campaigns.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, UAT logs, test reports, and other testing documentation.
• Provide testing observations, recommendations, and go-live readiness feedback to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of web, mobile applications, backend systems, and customer journeys.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to execute test cases, identify defects, and clearly document issues.
• Familiarity with Jira, Excel, or similar testing/issue-tracking tools.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
