Role Description The Pharmacy Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kishorganj, within the Dhaka region. The Pharmacy Assistant will support daily pharmacy operations by preparing and organizing prescriptions under supervision, managing stock on shelves, and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging of medicines. The role involves assisting customers with medication inquiries, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. The Pharmacy Assistant will also answer phone calls professionally, coordinate with healthcare providers when needed, and help with inventory tracking, stock rotation, and expiry checks. This position requires adherence to pharmacy policies, confidentiality standards, and safe handling of medications.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong prescription handling skills, including reading, interpreting, and organizing prescriptions under licensed supervision.
• Candidates should possess solid pharmacy-related knowledge and basic understanding of medications, dosage forms, and safe dispensing practices.
• Candidates should possess effective customer service and phone etiquette skills to assist patients and communicate clearly with healthcare professionals.
• Candidates should possess inventory management skills to monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation of medications.
• Completion of a pharmacy assistant or related healthcare training program, or relevant experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting, is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately, maintain attention to detail, and work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members.
• Basic computer literacy for using pharmacy software, billing systems, and maintaining records is beneficial.
• Commitment to ethical practices, patient confidentiality, and compliance with local health and safety regulations.
