Role Description The Pest Control Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This role is responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing appropriate pest control treatments in accordance with safety and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include applying approved chemicals, setting traps or other control measures, documenting service activities, and following integrated pest management practices to minimize environmental impact. The technician will also communicate with clients to explain findings, treatment plans, and preventive measures, and may assist with related outdoor maintenance such as basic lawn care to reduce pest habitats. Collaboration with facility management staff and adherence to Strata’s quality and safety protocols are essential.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Pest Control and Integrated Pest Management for effective identification, treatment, and prevention of infestations.
• Candidates should possess skills in PEST (pest evaluation and safety techniques) to ensure proper use of tools, chemicals, and regulatory compliance.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact clearly with clients and team members and explain service procedures and recommendations.
• Candidates should possess basic Lawn Care skills to support outdoor maintenance that helps reduce pest risks.
• Relevant certification or training in pest control or facility maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and maintain accurate service records.
• Physical ability to perform on-site tasks, including lifting equipment and working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Experience in commercial or residential facility management environments is an advantage.
