Role Description The Pattern Master is responsible for translating design concepts into accurate patterns for bulk production, ensuring correct fit, measurements, and construction details. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and adjusting patterns manually or using pattern software, preparing markers, checking samples against specifications, and coordinating with designers, merchandisers, and production supervisors to resolve technical issues. The role involves grading patterns for different sizes, verifying fabric utilization, and maintaining pattern libraries and documentation for future orders. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sreepur Upazila, requiring close collaboration with cutting and sewing teams on the factory floor to ensure quality and consistency in finished garments.
Qualifications

• Strong pattern drafting and grading skills, with the ability to create and modify patterns from technical sketches or samples.
• Proficiency in garment construction techniques, measurement standards, and fit analysis for woven and knit products.
• Experience collaborating with design, sampling, and production teams to interpret style details and resolve technical issues.
• Attention to detail in checking patterns, samples, and markers to ensure accuracy and minimize fabric waste.
• Familiarity with pattern-making software or CAD tools is an advantage, along with basic computer literacy.
• Minimum of a vocational diploma, technical certification, or equivalent experience in pattern making, fashion technology, or garment engineering.
• Ability to work on-site in a factory environment in Sreepur Upazila, manage multiple styles, and meet production timelines.
• Prior experience as a Pattern Master or senior pattern technician in the garment industry is strongly preferred.
