Role Description The Pattern Maker at Universal Jeans Ltd. is a full-time, on-site role based in Chawkbazar Thana. The role involves creating and modifying patterns for denim and related garments according to design specifications and size standards. Day-to-day tasks include translating design sketches into accurate patterns, coordinating sample fittings, and making necessary pattern adjustments to improve fit and production efficiency. The Pattern Maker will work closely with designers, sample makers, and production teams to ensure patterns are technically sound and suitable for bulk manufacturing. The role also includes maintaining pattern documentation, using CAD tools where applicable, and supporting continuous improvement in pattern-making processes.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Pattern Making and Pattern Design, with the ability to develop and adjust patterns for various styles and sizes.
• Experience in Fitting, including coordinating sample fittings and refining patterns based on fit and comfort feedback.
• Proficiency in Sewing techniques to understand garment construction and support accurate pattern development.
• Ability to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for pattern drafting, grading, and modification.
• Attention to detail, strong measurement and math skills, and the ability to interpret technical specifications and design sketches.
• Experience in denim or similar apparel manufacturing is highly beneficial.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with design and production staff.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in pattern making, garment technology, or fashion design is preferred.
