Role Description The Owner will provide overall strategic and operational leadership for Immunity by Cell Press, ensuring the journal maintains its position as a premier publication in immunology. This full-time, on-site role in Comilla District involves setting long-term vision, overseeing editorial policies, and guiding decisions related to content quality, scope, and impact. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with editorial and publishing teams, managing key partnerships, monitoring financial performance, and driving initiatives that strengthen the journal’s reputation and reach. The Owner will engage with the scientific community, support outreach and marketing activities, and ensure adherence to ethical publishing standards. The role also includes supervising staff, optimizing workflows, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and strategic management skills, including experience overseeing complex projects or organizations.
• Background in scientific publishing, research management, or a related field; familiarity with immunology or biomedical sciences is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with editors, authors, reviewers, and partners.
• Demonstrated ability in organizational planning, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Commitment to ethical standards, quality assurance, and inclusive workplace practices.
• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., life sciences, medicine, public health, or business administration) preferred.
• Experience working on-site in a leadership capacity and readiness to be based in Comilla District.
