- Prepare and analyze production capacity, line loading, and manpower requirements for woven garments production.
- Conduct Time Study, Motion Study, Method Study, and Work Measurement to establish accurate SMV/SAM.
- Develop and implement efficient line layout, operation bulletin, and workstation arrangements.
- Monitor line efficiency, productivity, target achievement, DHU, bottleneck operations, and production performance.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve line efficiency and output.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly IE reports, efficiency reports, capacity reports, and productivity analysis.
- Set hourly production targets and monitor actual production against targets.
- Analyze manpower utilization, machine utilization, absenteeism, and line balancing.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Merchandising, and other relevant departments to achieve production targets.
- Support new style/product development through SMV calculation, capacity planning, operation breakdown, and line setting.
- Conduct line balancing and layout optimization for different woven garments styles.
- Analyze loss time and identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure proper implementation of IE systems and standards throughout the production floor.
- Prepare and present management reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Lead and guide junior IE team members and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Experience: 5-10 years
- Education: bachelor of science in industrial & production engineering (ipe)
- Skills: technical knowledge of garment production, garment production, garment industry knowledge, garment manufacturing, production management, textile industry knowledge, knit garment production, manufacturing operations management, manufacturing engineering
