About the Role

To ensure laboratory equipment remains calibrated, maintained, qualified, and in good functional condition through effective planning, timely execution, vendor coordination, and proper documentation in compliance with cGMP and GLP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the annual laboratory equipment calibration and preventive maintenance schedule and ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate routine calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment in accordance with approved protocols, cGMP, and GLP requirements.
• Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure laboratory equipment remains in good functional condition.
• Maintain complete and accurate calibration and maintenance records, certificates, equipment logs, and other related QC documentation.
• Coordinate with the Validation Department for equipment qualification and support purchase requisitions and processing of vendor service bills.

Qualifications

• M. Pharm, M.Sc. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry and Biochemistry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance.

Required Skills

• Sound knowledge of laboratory equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of cGMP, GLP, and laboratory documentation practices.
