The Officer – Modern Trade will be responsible for managing assigned Modern Trade outlets, ensuring smooth operations, timely deliveries, and optimal stock and merchandising standards. The role involves monitoring sales performance, maintaining strong outlet relationships, and supporting promotional and reporting activities to drive business growth within the Modern Trade channel.
Job Responsibilities
- Visit assigned Modern Trade outlets and ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.
- Execute deliveries as per approved schedules and ensure proper submission of invoices, receiving copies, and RTV documents.
- Monitor outlet-wise sales, stock, product availability, and replenishment requirements, and follow up with outlet personnel for timely order placement.
- Ensure proper merchandising, product display, shelf placement, price tags, and promotional materials.
- Monitor product expiry and damaged products, and promptly report and process RTV/returnable items.
- Support new product listings, product launches, promotional campaigns, and in-store activities.
- Maintain professional relationships with outlet managers and customer representatives, and report customer complaints and operational issues to the Team Leader.
- Collect and report sales, stock, demand, market, and competitor information (pricing, promotions, new products, display activities) to the Team Leader.
- Assist in stock counting, merchandising, audits, and physical verification, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports using MS Excel.
- Maintain proper records, ensure compliance with company policies and Modern Trade SOPs, and perform other Modern Trade-related duties as assigned.
