We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Officer, Markets Operations, Markets and Securities Services, Corporate and Institutional Banking.

Principal Accountabilities

• Process Money Market, Foreign Exchange (FX), Fixed Income (FI) deal and Fund Transfers.
• Monitor and report daily Cash Position, Forward Outstanding and other MI reports for the Management.
• Perform deal confirmation matching in Treats and TCM.
• Maintain the Board Rate and Interest Base Rate in HUB daily.
• Prepare Money Market, FX and FI Related returns for regulators (Bangladesh Bank, BAFEDA).
• Prepare Treasury related vouchers & relevant correspondence to Bangladesh Bank, Issue Instruments e.g. BB cheque, A-Challan
• Perform settlement through RTGS, EDS Money and other systems
• Ensure full compliance of DIM and Markets FIM.
• Relevant Stakeholder Management.
• Ensure full compliance of Global Standards: Transaction Screening (Sanction), Transaction Monitoring (AML).
  
  

Experience, Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
• Consistent academic background
• Experience in Treasury Operations including foreign exchange and money market operation will be considered as a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bangla.
• Familiarity with Bangladesh Bank rules and regulations related to Foreign Exchange Transactions and Money Market Operations
  
  

As per BRPD circular no. 02 dated 16 Jan 2025, any applicant from a bank or financial institution must pass the Banking Professional Exam (JAIBB & AIBB) to be appointed in a higher position at HSBC.
