- Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and supervise agriculture and gardening-related interventions under the Nurturing of Youth in Camp (NYC) project.
- Promote climate-smart agriculture practices among youth to enhance food security and environmental resilience.
- Facilitate centre-based gardening and market linkage activities to support agribusiness skills development.
- Key Duties:
- Provide technical leadership in agricultural training activities, ensuring alignment with WFP resilience objectives.
- Support youth in practical learning sessions, overseeing demonstration plots and gardens.
- Coordinate with project colleagues and stakeholders to ensure quality implementation and documentation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and outcomes.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with project teams to integrate agricultural initiatives with broader project goals.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to foster support and participation in project activities.
- Experience: 2 years
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Agriculture
