Odoo Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Odoo Developer with 2–3 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining Odoo modules according to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules and applications.
• Customize existing Odoo functionalities, workflows, reports, and user interfaces.
• Develop new modules based on business and operational requirements.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in Odoo applications.
• Optimize application performance and ensure code quality.
• Work with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform database operations and data migration when required.
• Conduct testing and ensure smooth deployment of developed solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation for custom modules and integrations.
• Stay updated with the latest Odoo versions, frameworks, and development practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
• Strong knowledge of Python and Odoo Framework.
• Good understanding of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing and customizing Odoo modules.
• Knowledge of Odoo ORM, APIs, workflows, security/access rights, and reporting.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Odoo versions 14–18.
• Experience in Odoo implementation and customization.
• Knowledge of REST API and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu server environments.
• Understanding of business modules such as CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and Manufacturing.
• Experience with Odoo deployment and server configuration will be an added advantage.
