Network Engineer, Information Technology

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement physical and logical network layouts, including rack optimization, structured cabling, and power distribution for seamless IT infrastructure operations
• Manage the end-to-end installation and commissioning of servers, network equipment, power systems, and related hardware
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on networking and power equipment (including online UPS systems) ensuring high availability
• Ensure physical IT infrastructure complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and corporate security best practices
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 troubleshooting for connectivity issues, hardware failures, and performance bottlenecks to maintain uninterrupted operations
• Act as the technical point of contact during infrastructure-related emergencies such as outages, hardware failures, or thermal incidents
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within scope
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of infrastructure diagrams, assets, network layouts, and operational procedures
• Work closely with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders to align network infrastructure with organizational requirements
• Travel to company locations as needed to audit, deploy, and manage network infrastructure components directly

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation
• Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so

Qualifications:

Education:

• A Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or a related discipline from any reputed university

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 4 year of relevant experience
