Job Summary
The Network Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization`s IT infrastructure, including enterprise networks, servers, security systems, and end-user computing devices. The incumbent will ensure high network availability, network security, data backup, and uninterrupted connectivity for all business operations, including specialized medical and laboratory systems where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Network Administration
- Design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and Internet connectivity.
- Configure and maintain MikroTik routers, Cisco switches, UniFi networking devices, IP Cameras and NVR systems, and enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Create and manage VLANs for network segmentation and enhanced security.
- Configure routing, switching, NAT, DHCP, DNS, VPN, STP, LACP, VRRP, QoS, ACL, NAT, IPv4/IPv6, Tailscale vpn tunnel, and firewall policies.
- Manage structured network cabling and connectivity.
- Coordinate with ISPs and IIG providers to ensure reliable internet connectivity and quick fault resolution.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems and Configure PC-to-PC networking, printer sharing, and shared folders.
- Manage password security using Bitwarden Vault or equivalent enterprise password management solutions.
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and security events.
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server.
- Configure Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, File Server, Print Server, and Remote Desktop Services.
- Perform server maintenance, updates, performance tuning, and health monitoring.
- Replace UPS batteries and perform preventive maintenance of IT hardware.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot all software applications.
- Configure networking for ELISA and Dimension laboratory machines.
- Coordinate with vendors for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain biometric attendance systems.
- Configure attendance punch machines and ensure seamless integration with HR software.
- Support electronic access control systems where applicable.
- Perform regular backups of servers, databases, software configurations, and critical business data.
- Verify backup integrity and maintain disaster recovery procedures.
- Experience: 2-4 years
- Education: bachelor of science in computer science and engineering (cse)
- Skills: computer network operations, network administration, network engineering, it support, computer maintenance, system administration, server administration
