- Clinical Care and Infection Prevention Control: The Midwife Assistant will dedicate 90% of her time to providing direct maternal clinical care. This includes ensuring adherence to infection prevention protocols to safeguard both patients and healthcare staff.
- Patient Care: Deliver compassionate and effective care to expectant mothers, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the maternity process.
- Family Planning and Health Education: Engage in family planning initiatives and provide health education to patients and their families, promoting informed health choices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards.
- Collaboration with Medical Staff: Work closely with the Medical Coordinator and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
- Administrative Support: Assist in basic administrative tasks as directed by the Senior Training Officer or Project Coordinator, contributing to the smooth operation of the healthcare facility.
- Health Research Participation: Contribute to health research initiatives aimed at improving maternal and child health outcomes.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in midwifery and maternal care.
