Job Context
We are a leading, 100% export-oriented RMG manufacturing (Woven) industry located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, working with renowned global fashion brands. We are currently looking for a dynamic, proactive, and result-oriented professional to join our efficient Merchandising team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end merchandising operations for international buyers independently from product development to final shipment.
- Coordinate seamlessly with buyers, production units, commercial departments, and quality assurance teams.
- Manage costing, pricing negotiations, and prepare detailed cost sheets for new seasonal styles and inquiries.
- Monitor and manage T&A (Time & Action) calendar strictly to ensure timely delivery of samples, fabrics, trims, and bulk shipments.
- Source quality fabrics and accessories while keeping track of inventory and consumption.
- Review tech packs, fit comments, and test reports, ensuring all buyer specifications and quality standards are strictly met.
- Resolve daily operational issues on the factory floor regarding production, quality, and material shortfalls.
- Experience: 3-7 years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
- Skills: garment industry knowledge, garment manufacturing, technical knowledge of garment production, merchandise planning, fabric sourcing, textile industry knowledge, fashion merchandising, apparel sourcing, garment production, fashion buying
