Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Merchandiser role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Merchandiser will coordinate between buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage orders from sampling to shipment, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and pricing requirements are met. Daily tasks include tracking production progress, preparing costing and order sheets, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, and resolving issues related to fabric, trims, and production. The role also involves analyzing market trends, supporting the development of new collections, and contributing to improvements in sourcing efficiency and buyer satisfaction. The Merchandiser will collaborate closely with quality controllers and commercial teams to ensure accurate documentation and smooth execution of each order.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interactions with buyers and suppliers.
• Customer Service and relationship management skills to support buyer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Experience in handling customers such as LPP, KIK will be considered an added advantage.
• Marketing awareness to support market-oriented collection development and brand-focused merchandising decisions.
• Experience in garments merchandising, textile production, or apparel sourcing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple orders, and meet strict deadlines.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with order management or ERP systems is an advantage.
