Role Description The Merchandiser role at Green Corporation is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Merchandiser is responsible for planning and executing product displays, ensuring shelves are well-stocked, organized, and aligned with brand and promotional guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with sales and retail teams, checking product quality, and adjusting merchandising plans based on sales performance and customer feedback. The Merchandiser will collect market and competitor insights, support pricing and promotional activities, and help maintain a clean, appealing store environment. This role also involves regular communication with store management and suppliers to ensure timely product availability and effective visual presentation.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with store teams, suppliers, and management, and to clearly present merchandising plans and results.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Retail skills to understand shopper behavior, support a positive in-store experience, and maintain professional conduct on the sales floor.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to support product placement that drives conversions, monitor sales trends, and assist in promotional execution.
• Candidates should possess Marketing skills to align product displays with brand guidelines, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for inventory tracking, pricing accuracy, and visual consistency.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with flexibility to support peak business hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
• Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• Basic data and spreadsheet skills to record stock levels, sales information, and merchandising plans, plus the ability to follow company policies and safety standards.
