Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Merchandiser role based in Dhaka. The Merchandiser will coordinate the end-to-end order lifecycle, including sample development, approvals, production follow-up, and shipment planning. Responsibilities include communicating with suppliers and buyers, tracking production timelines, monitoring quality standards, and ensuring that products meet client specifications and pricing targets. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation, preparing reports, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues related to delivery schedules, materials, and compliance. The Merchandiser will support continuous improvement in sourcing efficiency and supply chain reliability across relevant product categories.

Qualifications

• Strong merchandising and product coordination skills, including sample management, order tracking, and vendor follow-up.
• Experience in sourcing, supplier relationship management, and basic knowledge of international trade processes.
• Competence in data handling and documentation, including order sheets, production reports, and shipment records.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities for working with buyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with email and online collaboration platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in apparel or textiles merchandising, or in a trading/sourcing environment, is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka and collaborate with diverse teams in a professional, inclusive manner.
