- Conduct rounds with consultants and manage post-round tasks, including follow-ups on investigations.
- Perform morning and evening follow-ups on patients prior to consultant rounds.
- Report to the Coordinator on clinical and administrative issues.
- Assess and admit patients independently after consulting with senior staff.
- Complete a thorough review of patient history and physical examination within the first 24hours of admission.
- Continuously monitor patient progress, adjust management plans, and handle medical emergencies in coordination with the consultant.
- Ensure compliance with hospital practices to maintain the safest environment for patients and staff.
- Attend clinical meetings and workshops, and actively participate in presentations.
- Participate in hospital training programs and pursue ongoing knowledge and skill development.
- For New Admissions: Review patient history, lab results, and current medications prior to the consultant's visit.
- For Referral Patients: Manage referred patients under consultant supervision.
- For Discharges: Ensure accuracy of discharge summaries, including diagnoses and medications, under consultant oversight.
- General: Assist in patient counseling under consultant supervision.
- Experience: At least 2 years
