Role Description The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. Daily responsibilities include preparing specimens, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, following standardized testing procedures, and recording and validating test results. The technologist will adhere to strict quality control and safety protocols, assist in troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure timely reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Barisal Sadar Upazila, requiring consistent presence in the laboratory during scheduled working hours.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine skills, with the ability to perform a range of clinical diagnostic tests accurately.
• Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills, including specimen handling, equipment operation, and adherence to laboratory protocols.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Quality Control practices to ensure reliability, consistency, and safety of laboratory results.
• Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Medicine to interpret results in a clinical context and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
• Relevant academic qualification such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate national or regional regulatory body, where applicable.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to follow standardized procedures and documentation requirements.
• Ability to work on-site in Barisal Sadar Upazila, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain professional conduct and confidentiality.
