Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and related engineering activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of machinery and equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain mechanical machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Perform regular inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Identify mechanical faults and take necessary corrective actions.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with production and other technical teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and maintenance procedures.
• Support senior engineers in technical and maintenance-related activities.
• Monitor spare parts and maintenance requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance/engineering is preferred.
• Fresh Diploma holders with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
