Role Description The Marketplace Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the company’s marketplace platforms. This role includes monitoring product listings, order processing, and fulfillment workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery. The manager will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues, improve processes, and maintain high service standards. Core responsibilities include tracking performance metrics, analyzing operational data, and implementing action plans to improve seller performance, customer experience, and overall marketplace health. The role also involves creating and updating operational guidelines, supporting promotional activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications

• Experience in marketplace or e-commerce operations, including order management, inventory coordination, and seller support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with relevant digital tools and platforms (e.g., marketplace dashboards, spreadsheets, order management systems).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the local Dhaka market and familiarity with regional consumer behavior is beneficial.
