Role Description The Marketing and Event Operations Intern will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and virtual events in alignment with BdSoft.org’s brand and business goals. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with market research, preparing promotional materials, coordinating event logistics, tracking campaign performance, and updating marketing content across digital channels. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure clear communication with participants, partners, and internal stakeholders, while maintaining accurate documentation and reports. This is an internship role with a remote work arrangement, providing flexible, hands-on experience in marketing and event operations within a tech-focused environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and event participants.
• Candidates should possess Market Research and Marketing Strategy skills to support campaign planning and assess audience needs.
• Candidates should possess Sales and basic Marketing skills to assist in lead generation, outreach efforts, and promotional activities.
• Candidates should have solid organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain detailed records.
• Candidates should be comfortable working remotely, be self-motivated, and proficient with common digital tools (e.g., office suites, collaboration platforms, social media).
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is beneficial; prior internship or project experience in marketing or events is a plus.
