Role Description The Manual Lathe Machine Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The operator will set up and run manual lathe machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and marking materials, selecting tools and cutting parameters, machining components, and checking finished parts for accuracy and quality. The role involves routine machine maintenance, safe handling of tools and equipment, and reporting any equipment issues or defects. The operator will collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to meet production targets, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow all safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications

• Ability to operate manual lathe and related Machine Operation tasks with confidence and accuracy.
• Experience working with industrial Machinery and understanding of basic mechanical principles.
• Skill in Quality Control, including measuring parts, reading drawings, and verifying tolerances.
• Proficiency using Hand Tools safely and correctly in a workshop environment.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with supervisors and team members.
• Prior experience in a machining or metalworking workshop is strongly preferred.
• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Commitment to workplace safety, punctuality, and consistent attention to detail.
