Role Description The Managing Director & CEO is a full-time leadership role with a hybrid work arrangement based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, allowing limited work-from-home flexibility. The role is responsible for setting the organization’s strategic direction, overseeing business development, and ensuring robust investment, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the executive team, monitoring financial performance, approving key investment and product decisions, and fostering strong relationships with regulators, investors, and strategic partners. The Managing Director & CEO will drive operational efficiency, talent development, and organizational culture, while representing the company to stakeholders and the public. This role also requires continuous assessment of market trends to identify growth opportunities and maintain competitive positioning.
Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in asset management, banking, finance, or related sectors, with a strong track record of driving growth and managing complex organizations.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills, including the ability to define vision, set measurable goals, and translate strategy into actionable business plans.
• Extensive knowledge of investment management, capital markets, portfolio management principles, and risk management practices.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and compliance requirements relevant to asset management in Bangladesh and international contexts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust with investors, regulators, partners, and team members.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance management, with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams, promote an inclusive culture, and manage change in a fast-evolving market environment.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CFA, CA, or similar) are highly desirable.
