Role Description The Managing Director role is a full-time, on-site position based in Khulna, Bangladesh. The Managing Director will oversee day-to-day business operations, including supervision of staff, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring efficient inventory and supply chain management. This role includes setting business goals, developing and implementing strategies to grow revenue and profitability, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key customers. The Managing Director will handle budgeting and financial planning, review financial reports, and make decisions to optimize costs and margins. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local regulations, maintaining a safe and organized workplace, and representing the company in negotiations and community or industry engagements.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising teams and guiding daily operations.
• Business planning and strategic management capabilities, including goal setting, performance monitoring, and process improvement.
• Financial literacy, with experience in budgeting, basic accounting, and financial decision-making for small or medium businesses.
• Experience in retail, hardware, construction materials, or sanitary ware sectors is highly beneficial.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for working with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Khulna, Bangladesh, and manage operational issues hands-on.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
