Role Description The Managing Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Tongi, responsible for overseeing overall business operations, strategy, and performance. This position leads senior managers, sets organizational objectives, and ensures that business plans align with the company’s mission and financial targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring operational efficiency, managing budgets, reviewing performance metrics, and making data-informed decisions to drive growth. The Managing Director builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, while promoting a positive workplace culture. The role also involves risk management, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies, and representing the company in high-level negotiations and public forums.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior leadership or executive management, ideally as a Managing Director, General Manager, or similar role.
• Strong strategic planning and business development skills, with a track record of achieving growth and profitability targets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor diverse teams, foster collaboration, and manage change effectively.
• Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining on-site operational processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field; a master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
• High level of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in local languages is beneficial.
