Job Responsibilities
- Strong experience in production planning and control, sample checking and approval processes, workflow improvement, and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Candidates having relevant experience in the same line of industry will be given preference.
- Experience in supporting paper pattern development and guiding garment fitting tests.
- Lead and manage the Technical & Design Department of GFG Bangladesh.
- Lead garment technical development from initial concept/design through sample approval and production.
- Review and ensure accuracy of tech packs, measurements, construction details, BOM, specifications, fabrics and trims.
- Oversee development of proto, FIT/TAS, PPS, size set and other required samples.
- Ensure proper fit, measurement, workmanship and technical execution according to client requirements.
- Work closely with Merchandising, Sourcing, Production and Quality teams to ensure smooth product development and execution.
- Identify technical risks and provide timely and practical solutions.
- Communicate with international clients, factories and suppliers on technical and product development matters when required.
- Establish technical standards, procedures and effective working systems for the department.
- Monitor development timelines and reduce unnecessary sample revisions and technical errors.
- Lead, coach and develop the Technical & Design team to build a strong and performance-driven department.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality, development efficiency and technical capabilities.

- Skills: technical knowledge of garment production, garment industry knowledge, garment production, garment manufacturing, textile industry knowledge, garment finishing, textile engineering, garment fitting, garment construction, knit garment manufacturing
