Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop new denim fabric constructions based on market trends and buyer requirements.
- Manage the full development cycle — from yarn selection to lab-dip/swatch approval.
- Maintain a fabric library and technical specification sheets.
- Drive innovation in sustainable and specialty denim, including organic, recycled, eco-finishes, and stretch fabrics.
- Translate buyer briefs and mood boards into technically and commercially viable fabric proposals.
- Ensure feasibility and costing alignment with weaving, dyeing, finishing, and Marketing teams.
- Coordinate sampling and buyer approvals, ensuring quality standards are met before bulk production.
