- Develop and implement comprehensive production plans based on buyer orders, shipment schedules, production capacity, and available resources.
- Prepare and monitor order-wise production plans, T&A, line plans, capacity plans, and daily/weekly/monthly production targets.
- Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, Industrial Engineering (IE), Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Quality, Store, Commercial, and other relevant departments.
- Allocate orders to appropriate production lines based on factory capacity, product type, SMV, machine requirements, manpower availability, and shipment deadlines.
- Monitor daily production progress against the approved plan and identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and potential delivery risks.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly planning and production performance reports for management.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, production lines, and factory capacity.
- Monitor WIP, line loading, output, efficiency, capacity utilization, and order status.
- Take timely corrective and preventive actions to minimize production delays and ensure on-time shipment.
- Work closely with Production and IE teams on line balancing, capacity improvement, productivity enhancement, and production efficiency.
- Analyze factory capacity against order loading and provide management with accurate capacity and production forecasts.
- Follow up on the availability of fabric, trims, accessories, and other production-related materials in coordination with relevant departments.
- Establish and maintain effective planning systems for apparel, jackets, and outerwear products.
- Support management in capacity planning, production forecasting, order loading, and strategic production decisions.
- Identify potential risks in advance and develop contingency plans to protect shipment commitments.
- Lead, guide, and develop the Planning/PPC team to achieve departmental objectives and KPIs.
- Continuously improve planning processes, systems, and reporting methods to enhance factory performance.
- Experience: 10-15 years
- Education: bachelor of business administration in operations management
- Skills: production planning, merchandise planning, production management, garment production, technical knowledge of garment production, project planning, demand planning
