Role Description The Manager Land Purchase is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, responsible for overseeing all activities related to identifying, evaluating, and acquiring land for the group’s projects. This position involves conducting due diligence on prospective land parcels, including legal verification, ownership assessment, and compliance with local regulations and zoning requirements. The role requires regular coordination with landowners, brokers, legal advisors, and government authorities to negotiate terms, prepare documentation, and facilitate smooth transactions. The Manager will maintain accurate records of all land deals, track project timelines, and report status and risks to senior management. Day-to-day tasks include market research on land values, visiting sites, supporting feasibility studies, and ensuring that land acquisitions align with the company’s strategic and financial objectives.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of land acquisition processes, property laws, and regulatory frameworks in Bangladesh.
• Experience in real estate, land development, or related fields, ideally with large-scale or corporate projects.
• Proven skills in negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship building with landowners and intermediaries.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze land valuations, and support financial feasibility assessments.
• Competence in documentation review, contract preparation support, and coordination with legal teams.
• Effective communication skills in Bangla and English, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
