Role Description The MANAGER, IM & SCM (Inventory Management & Supply Chain Management) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory planning and control, managing procurement activities, and ensuring efficient supply management to support IT systems integration projects and ongoing operations. The manager will analyze demand trends, optimize stock levels, and coordinate with vendors, project teams, and internal stakeholders to prevent shortages and reduce excess inventory. Daily tasks include reviewing inventory reports, monitoring procurement cycles, tracking supplier performance, and implementing supply chain policies aligned with ESL’s quality and process standards. The role also involves preparing regular performance summaries, identifying process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making related to inventory and supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Inventory Management and Supply Management to ensure accurate stock control and efficient material flow.
• Candidates should possess solid Demand Planning and Analytical Skills to forecast requirements, interpret data, and align inventory with project and operational needs.
• Candidates should possess Procurement expertise to manage sourcing, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations in line with organizational policies.
• Candidates should have experience in supply chain management within technology, ICT, or related industries, preferably in project-based or systems integration environments.
• Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems, along with strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Candidates should have effective communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and compliance with quality standards.
• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in SCM or logistics will be an advantage.
