Manager, Financial Reporting

As a listed legacy organization and an ACCA-approved employer, we take pride in our industry excellence. We are currently seeking a "Manager, Financial Reporting" to join our team. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting management with reliable financial insights.

Job Overview:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and financial reports.
• Oversee the timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and adjustments.
• Maintain compliance of financial reporting with IFRS/IAS, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review statutory and regulatory reports, including relevant submissions to IDRA and other authorities.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary schedules, information, and explanations.
• Review accounting entries and financial transactions to maintain accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
• Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and relevant financial information for decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit, or a related field.
• Finance professional qualification will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Sound understanding of IFRS/IAS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
