BRAC Bank seeks an ambitious, intelligent, purpose-driven, and enthusiastic individual for the following position under Technology Division:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Portfolio Management

• Direct the design, development, and implementation of corporate solutions (CORPnet, UCP) and mobile applications (MCPV, SME Infosight, Obichol).
• Define product visions and roadmaps, ensuring that new features and technological upgrades align with organizational business goals.
• Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Agile or Scrum methodologies to manage multiple high-priority projects and releases simultaneously.
• Enterprise Integration & API Governance
• Lead the architecture and implementation of secure, scalable API integration strategies to connect internal corporate applications with external third-party systems.
• Enforce best practices for API design (e.g., RESTful or SOAP) and security standards such as OAuth2 and JWT to ensure data integrity and system performance.
• Ensure robust connectivity with banking, insurance, and MFS partners to support a paperless and integrated digital ecosystem.

2.Operational Excellence & Support

• Oversee the maintenance and support of all managed applications, ensuring high availability and meeting strictly defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Manage escalation protocols for critical production issues, leading technical problem-solving and root-cause analysis to minimize business downtime.
• Establish and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and procedures to guarantee the continuity of critical business applications.

3. Quality Assurance & Technical Governance

• Enforce rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) standards, including automated testing (unit, widget, and integration tests), to maintain a high bar for software design and reliability.
• Monitor compliance with internal security policies, data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, local regulations), and industry standards.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, project logs, and performance metrics to track system health and improvement opportunities.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and managing service agreements to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders (Product Managers, Department Heads) to translate complex business problems into viable technical solutions.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic record. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field, is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in a reputable bank / financial institute with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in Knowledge of Banking Fundamentals, Products & Processes.
• Expertise in Technology Applications & Integrations.
• Expertise in Market Intelligence & Know-how.
• Expertise in Knowledge of Access Management & System Controls.
• Digital Readiness – Expertise in working on MS Office & Android / Apple Platforms.
• Proficient in customer-centricity, self-propelled, and capable of meeting deadlines.
