The bank is seeking a qualified and purpose-driven professional for the following position within its Technology function:

Job Grade: SPO

The position of Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing application management functions, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery, optimized system performance, and adherence to organizational standards. The role requires strong technical expertise, vendor coordination, operational leadership, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across critical applications. The incumbent will act as a technical and functional SPOC for assigned systems and support enterprise-wide business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Software Lifecycle & Support

• Oversee software management activities including defect analysis, patch/fix deployment, and implementation support.
• Provide timely and effective support for live systems and ongoing projects.

R&D and Problem Prevention

• Conduct root-cause analysis, research, and investigative activities to identify recurring issues.
• Implement preventive measures and continuous improvement strategies to reduce user complaints and application-related problems.

Product Management Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned products.
• Serve as the Level 2 technical and functional resource for the products.
• Conduct routine system health assessments and performance monitoring.
• Ensure that all support and service activities meet established SLAs.

Vendor Deliverables Management

• Manage day-to-day communication with vendors to ensure timely support, troubleshoot critical issues, and drive effective problem resolution.
• Monitor, track, and ensure all vendor deliverables meet agreed standards, timelines, and service-level requirements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation or post-graduation from any reputed university in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Engineering, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in a reputed bank / financial institute with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and complex query writing in Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server.
• Clear understanding of application architecture, integration, and system workflows.
• Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ITIL best practices.
• Ability to perform system health checks and performance diagnostics.
• Customer-centric, self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines.
