Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
TCL Global is developing a suite of AI-powered EdTech products for the international student recruitment business, including an AI-powered mobile app, an AI-powered CRM, an AI Counsellor and other AI-driven systems. The Manager – AI Commercialisation & Partnerships will own the commercial engine of this product suite: building its go-to-market strategy, shaping how the products are packaged and sold, and leading negotiations with universities and other large partners. This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role for someone who can translate a new technology product suite into a compelling commercial proposition, close institutional deals, and turn early traction into a repeatable, forecastable revenue engine.
Key Responsibilities
1. Go-to-Market Strategy & Market Positioning
- Build and own the overall go-to-market strategy for TCL Global's AI-powered EdTech product suite, from market entry sequencing to channel mix.
- Define target customer segments (e.g., universities, franchise partners, partner agents, corporate/institutional partners) and identify priority countries for expansion.
- Continuously refine positioning based on market feedback, competitor activity and pipeline performance.
2. Commercial Proposition
- Design and price subscription, licensing and white-label commercial packages for TCL Global's EdTech products (AI-powered mobile app, AI-powered CRM, AI Counsellor and other AI-driven systems), suited to different partner types and markets.
- Develop the sales pitch, proposal templates and overall commercial proposition used across the sales cycle.
- Work with Product/IT team to ensure proposition reflects product capability and roadmap.
3. Partnership & Negotiation Leadership
- Lead commercial negotiations with universities, potential franchise partners, partner agents and other large strategic partners, from first engagement through to signed agreement.
- Structure and manage pilot programmes and proof-of-concept agreements that convert into long-term commercial partnerships.
- Represent TCL Global's EdTech product suite at partner meetings, conferences and industry events as the face of the commercial function.
4. Pipeline, Forecasting & Reporting
- Build and manage the end-to-end technology sales pipeline, from lead generation through to close.
- Produce regular, accurate revenue forecasts and commercial performance reports for leadership.
- Track conversion rates, deal velocity and pilot-to-contract success as core performance indicators.
5. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Recruit, manage and develop the AI commercial team as headcount is approved and the function scales.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Product, IT, Marketing and Finance to align commercial activity with delivery capacity, roadmap and budget.
- Act as the primary link between customer-facing commercial activity and internal teams responsible for delivery and finance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- Five or more years' experience in B2B SaaS, EdTech or technology sales.
- Proven experience selling subscription- or licence-based products or services.
- Track record of closing institutional or enterprise-level agreements with multi-stakeholder organisations.
- Prior exposure to student recruitment or the higher-education sector is strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong presentation, communication and negotiation ability, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
- Able to explain TCL Global's AI-enabled EdTech products (mobile app, CRM, AI Counsellor and other AI-driven systems) and their commercial value clearly, without needing a technical/developer background.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to design pricing and packaging that balances customer value and business economics.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally across Sales, Global Partnership, IT, Marketing and Finance.
- Evidence of personally owning and achieving revenue targets in a previous role.
Personal Attributes
- A self-starter who is comfortable building a commercial function largely from the ground up.
- Organised and analytical, able to manage a live pipeline and produce reliable forecasts.
- Willing to travel as required for partner and university meetings, both domestically and internationally.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Dhaka, Bangladesh, and available for office attendance when business needs require.
Key Performance Indicators
- Revenue delivered against forecast/target.

- Forecast accuracy and quality/timeliness of commercial reporting.

- Full-time position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on a hybrid basis, with in-office attendance required when business needs arise.
- Reports directly to CEO initially; this reporting line will be reviewed as the team and function scale.
- Domestic and international travel required for partner and university engagements.
