Role Description The Manager role at Ananta Companies is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations within assigned production or functional units, ensuring that garment and leather manufacturing processes meet quality, efficiency, safety, and compliance standards. The Manager will coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow, monitor performance against production targets, and resolve operational issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role includes leading and mentoring team members, conducting regular performance reviews, and supporting training and skill development initiatives. The Manager will also prepare reports, support audits and client visits, and contribute to continuous process improvement to maintain competitiveness in international markets.
Qualifications

• Experience in garment or leather goods manufacturing management, including production planning, line balancing, and workflow optimization.
• Strong people management skills, with experience leading diverse teams, coaching, performance management, and fostering a safe, inclusive work environment.
• Knowledge of quality control processes, compliance standards (e.g., WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX), and health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret production data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and auditors.
• Familiarity with export-oriented RMG operations, global buyer requirements, and basic understanding of supply chain and logistics is beneficial.
• Proficiency in relevant office and production management software; experience with ERP or MIS systems in manufacturing is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced professional training in RMG or leather manufacturing is a plus.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within
