Local SEO Specialist (Part-Time / Remote)

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven, and skilled Local SEO Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for improving the online visibility, Google Maps rankings, and organic local traffic for our agency and client businesses.

If you have hands-on expertise in Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization, Local Schema Markup implementation, GEO/AEO integration, and driving organic local leads, we would love to work with you!

• Google Business Profile (GBP) Management: Set up, optimize, update, and maintain GBP profiles, including managing posts and customer reviews.
• Local Ranking & Strategy: Execute end-to-end on-page and off-page SEO strategies to rank businesses in Google's Local 3-Pack and local organic search results.
• Citation & NAP Consistency: Ensure consistent Name, Address, and Phone number (NAP) data across local directories and troubleshoot duplicate or spam listings.
• Technical & Semantic SEO: Implement custom LocalBusiness Schema Markup (JSON-LD), optimize local landing pages, and optimize content for AI-driven search behaviors.
• Local Link Building: Build high-quality local backlinks through local business directories, local news sites, and niche outreach.
• Reporting & Tracking: Monitor local rankings, track key conversions using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console, and provide regular performance reports.

• 2–3+ years of proven experience as a Local SEO Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Google Business Profile, Local Citations, and Google Maps optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of Technical SEO, Local Schema Markup, and on-page optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct local keyword research and align content strategy with local search intent.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and recent Google core updates is a plus.
