The Licensing & Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing all concerns of the organization’s licenses, permits, regulatory obligations, and compliance activities. The role will ensure that the company operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, government requirements, and internal policies.

The successful candidate will maintain all concerns of the company accurate licensing records, monitor regulatory changes, coordinate with relevant authorities, identify compliance risks, and support management in maintaining a strong compliance culture.

Licensing & Regulatory Management

• Manage all business licenses, permits, registrations, certificates, and regulatory approvals.
• Track license validity, renewal dates, conditions, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and submit applications, renewals, amendments, and supporting documents to relevant authorities.
• Maintain an up-to-date licensing and regulatory database.
• Coordinate inspections, assessments, and regulatory visits.
• Liaise with government agencies, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
  
  

Compliance Management

• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and contractual requirements.
• Identify potential compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews and support internal audits.
• Maintain compliance documentation, records, reports, and evidence.
• Develop and maintain compliance checklists, procedures, and monitoring schedules.
• Escalate significant compliance risks or violations to management.
  
  

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare periodic licensing and compliance reports for management.
• Maintain accurate records of licenses, permits, correspondence, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of required reports and documents.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
  
  

Land Documentation & Records Management

• Maintain and regularly update all land-related documents and records of the organization.
• Maintain a comprehensive database/register of company-owned, leased, acquired, or otherwise controlled land.
• Verify and organize original and certified copies of land documents.
• Maintain records relating to deeds, khatian/porcha, mutation/namjari, DCR, land development tax, rent receipts, maps, surveys, mouza maps, CS/SA/RS/BS records, and other relevant land documents, as applicable.
• Ensure that land documentation is properly indexed, filed, scanned, and securely preserved.
• Identify missing, outdated, inconsistent, or incomplete land documentation and coordinate necessary corrective actions.
