Lead, Development, Partnership & Monitoring

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead, Development, Partnership & Monitoring to drive business development, build strategic partnerships, and oversee project monitoring and performance management. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Bangladesh’s development landscape, inclusive finance, climate resilience, and insurance sector dynamics, with the ability to convert strategic opportunities into sustainable business growth and measurable impact.

Job Overview:

• Lead business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities, partnerships, and innovative solutions in inclusive insurance, climate risk, agriculture, health, and development sectors.
• Develop project concepts, proposals, business cases, and funding applications to support strategic growth.
• Build and manage relationships with development partners, donors, NGOs, government agencies, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead partnership negotiations and represent the organization at meetings, workshops, conferences, and industry events.
• Oversee project planning, implementation, coordination, and delivery to ensure timely achievement of objectives and compliance requirements.
• Establish and manage monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems to track performance, measure impact, and support decision-making.
• Conduct research, market analysis, and knowledge management activities to drive innovation and identify emerging opportunities.

Key Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications like Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Development Management, Insurance Management, Risk Management, Agricultural Insurance, Climate Risk Insurance, Inclusive Insurance, Actuarial Studies, or other relevant insurance and development-sector specializations will be considered an added advantage.
• 8–10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience working with development partners, NGOs/INGOs, multilateral agencies, or international organizations.
• Proven expertise in business development, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder management.
• Strong experience in managing donor-funded projects, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and multi-partner coordination.
• Exposure to insurance, financial services, climate resilience, agriculture, or inclusive finance will be an added advantage.
