Role Description The Ladies Tailor Master will be responsible for designing, cutting, and stitching ladies’ garments, ensuring accurate measurements, proper fitting, and high-quality finishing. Daily tasks include consulting with customers or supervisors on design requirements, taking measurements, creating patterns, performing fittings, and making necessary alterations to meet style and comfort expectations. The role includes supervising or guiding junior tailors when needed, maintaining organized workstations, and ensuring garments are delivered within agreed timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gazipur, requiring regular presence in the workshop and close coordination with the production and customer service teams.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong tailoring and dressmaking skills, including cutting, stitching, pattern making, and garment finishing.
• Candidates should possess fitting and alteration skills to ensure accurate measurements, proper drape, and comfortable wear for various ladies’ garment styles.
• Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills to understand requirements, explain options, and manage expectations professionally.
• Relevant experience as a Ladies Tailor Master or senior tailor in a boutique, factory, or tailoring shop is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on multiple orders, meet deadlines, and maintain quality standards in a busy workshop environment.
• Knowledge of different fabrics, trims, and garment construction techniques, with the ability to recommend suitable materials.
• Basic numeracy and measurement skills; ability to record and follow size specifications accurately.
• Willingness to follow workplace safety, cleanliness, and company policies, and to collaborate respectfully with colleagues.
