Job Responsibilities
- Collect blood, urine, and other required specimens from applicants according to established procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests required for GCC Medical/Wafid medical examinations.
- Handle, label, store, and process specimens accurately and safely.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations such as hematology, biochemistry, serology, and urine examinations as applicable.
- Operate laboratory equipment and ensure proper handling and maintenance.
- Follow standard laboratory procedures and quality-control protocols.
- Verify test results and report any abnormal or questionable findings to the responsible Medical Officer/Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, test results, and documentation.
- Ensure proper infection-control and laboratory safety practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory reports.
- Coordinate with doctors, medical officers, and other laboratory staff to ensure smooth medical examination procedures.
- Ensure timely processing of samples and test results for GCC Medical/Wafid applicants.
- Experience: 1-5 years
- Education: diploma in medical laboratory technology
- Skills: laboratory procedures, laboratory skills (bloodwork, diagnostics), laboratory medicine, laboratory techniques & procedures, laboratory skills, laboratory technicians, laboratory management, laboratory testing, laboratory regulations, medical technologist
