Key Account Manager
Job Description
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business prospects within the key account segment.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to pinpoint growth opportunities.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Implement retention strategies to minimize churn and maximize customer lifetime value.
- Negotiate and renew contracts with key clients, securing mutually beneficial terms.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contract agreements.
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on account status, sales activities, and potential risks.
- Prepare and present reports on key account performance to senior management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, logistics, customer support) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and promotions for key accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Knowledge of the logistics or courier industry is a plus.
