Role Description The Reservation Officer at Flyghuri is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka. This position is responsible for handling flight and travel reservations, issuing and reissuing airline tickets, and managing booking changes and cancellations. Daily tasks include supporting customers through phone, email, and in-person inquiries, providing fare quotes, offering travel options, and ensuring accurate data entry in reservation systems. The Reservation Officer works closely with the sales team to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings, resolve customer issues promptly, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline policies, routes, and promotions. The role also involves coordinating with suppliers and partners to secure competitive rates and smooth travel arrangements.

Qualifications

• Strong reservations and airline ticketing skills, including experience with GDS or airline booking systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to support travelers and resolve issues professionally.
• Sales abilities to convert inquiries into bookings and promote suitable travel products.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling passenger information, schedules, and payment records.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with office software and online booking platforms.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka in a full-time schedule, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in travel agencies, airlines, or hospitality is an advantage.
• Relevant education in tourism, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
