IT Officer

CSS is a humanitarian and socio-economic development organization that has been operating in Bangladesh since 1972. Within the Health Sector, CSS manages the Reverend Abdul Wadud Memorial Hospital (RAWMH), a 100-bed general hospital located in Tilok, Rupsha, Khulna. We are looking for an expert “IT Officer” who will be responsible for planning, implementing, facilitating and coordinating IT support activities of the Health Sector including proper management and functioning of computer (Hardware, Software, networking), Phone/Internet, photocopier, Multimedia, Printer etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and strengthen existing computer system and time to time set-up need based new programs;

• Take necessary steps (i.e. repair and replacement) to solve computer related problems including hardware, software & networking;

• Build local area network; monitor the network and troubleshoot the network difficulties;

• Take necessary steps to connect the computers to the internet and to ensure the proper use of internet incompliance with organizational rules and guidelines;

• Assist and guide Purchase department for purchasing computer, equipment and accessories;

• Help other staffs improve their technical knowledge regarding the use of computer;

• Prepare, update and circulate different literature, hand notes, manuals with users regarding recent progress in computers’ related software and apps;

• Attend relevant meetings, workshops, seminars and inform management accordingly;

• Take necessary action to solve any problem in the telecommunication system (PABX, Internet etc.);

• Monitor the photocopier machine, CCTV Camera and other equipment of Health Sector and take necessary steps to solve in case of any problem/malfunctioning;

• Ensure smooth and user-friendly internet facilities and IT support for guests, especially during events/functions;

• Coordinate with other project of CSS in case of any IT need/requirement;

• Any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.
