China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (Bangladesh Branch) is seeking an experienced professional for the role of IT Officer.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & System Maintenance:

• Maintain and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, scanners, networks, CCTV and other IT equipment.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, update and maintain operating systems, software and antivirus programs.
• Set up and configure new IT, networking and CCTV equipment as required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
• Respond promptly to system failures, network interruptions and IT emergencies.
  
  

Network, Internet & Access Control

• Ensure the security of company IT systems, networks, and data through antivirus, firewall, password, and access-control measures;
• Perform regular data backups and promptly report security risks, incidents or data loss to management.
  
  

IT Asset & Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software licenses, warranties and maintenance schedules.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: 5-7 years
• Education: bachelor of science (b.sc.)
• Skills: it support, computer maintenance, it procurement, computer engineering, maintenance engineering, computerskills, cctv management
