Role Description The Islamic & Practical Marriage Preparation Instructor is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing and delivering online courses that help individuals prepare for marriage from both Islamic and practical life perspectives. The instructor will develop structured lesson plans, presentations, and learning materials that address topics such as Islamic marital principles, communication, conflict resolution, financial planning, and emotional well-being. Daily tasks include conducting live or recorded classes, facilitating discussions, answering learner questions, and providing constructive feedback on assignments. The instructor will collaborate with the Kamrul Academy team to refine curriculum, maintain alignment with Islamic teachings and best practices, and ensure content is accessible, inclusive, and relevant for diverse learners. Additional responsibilities may include creating downloadable resources, participating in Q&A sessions, and contributing to community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of Islamic teachings on marriage, family life, ethics, and interpersonal conduct, with the ability to present them clearly and responsibly.
- Experience in teaching, training, or coaching in an online environment, including designing lesson plans, delivering lectures or workshops, and facilitating group discussions.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms, listen actively, and respond to questions with empathy and clarity.
- Practical expertise in areas such as relationship-building, conflict resolution, financial planning for couples, and emotional intelligence, preferably with prior counseling or mentoring experience.
- Proficiency with online teaching tools and learning platforms, including video conferencing, learning management systems, and basic digital content creation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and maintain consistent teaching schedules.
- Commitment to creating a respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory learning environment for learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Relevant academic training or recognized certifications in Islamic studies, counseling, psychology, education, or related disciplines are highly beneficial.
- Prior experience developing or teaching marriage preparation, premarital counseling, or personal development courses is an advantage.
