Shariah Product Design
- Define and review Islamic banking products such as Murabaha, Mudarabah, Musharakah, Ijara, Salam, Istisna, Tawarruq, Wakala, and Qard Hasan.
- Validate product structures, customer flows, profit calculation methods, and contract lifecycle requirements.
- Ensure products are designed in line with Shariah principles and business objectives.
- Prepare and review business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications for Islamic banking modules.
- Translate Shariah and business requirements into system rules, validations, and operational processes.
- Support gap analysis between conventional banking features and Islamic banking requirements.
- Ensure solution alignment with AAOIFI standards, Shariah governance requirements, and applicable central bank or regulatory guidelines.
- Review accounting treatment, disclosure needs, and posting logic for Islamic finance transactions.
- Support internal and external compliance reviews, audits, and certification-related activities.
- Review test scenarios, test cases, and UAT scripts for Islamic banking functionality.
- Experience: 4+ years
