Role Description The Investor role at True North Digital is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka. The Investor will focus on evaluating business opportunities, assessing digital initiatives, and supporting long-term growth strategies for the company. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial projections, analyzing market trends in the digital sector, and participating in investment planning discussions with the leadership team. The role involves monitoring the performance of funded projects, providing strategic input on resource allocation, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to align investment decisions with the company’s vision. The Investor will also contribute to risk assessments, prepare summary reports, and maintain clear documentation of investment-related activities.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial evaluation skills, including the ability to interpret budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of digital business models, online marketing trends, and the broader technology and startup ecosystem.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with skill in explaining complex financial and strategic concepts clearly.
• Proven capacity for strategic thinking, problem-solving, and making data-informed recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced qualifications or professional certifications are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
• Prior experience in investment analysis, venture capital, private equity, or corporate strategy is highly beneficial.
